Restyling | Turin Airport
Turin CaselleThe project presented plans to move the customs line to the mezzanine floor including more areas on the post-security side, to introduce green areas and to enhance natural light. To create a brand identity of the Airport, which is currently missing, the local Turin peculiarities have been highlighted and to elevate the experiential aspect of the passengers while maximizing the commercial potential, the colors have been changed, a usable terrace area and a Focus point have been designed.

“Activity nodes” have been added, along with open and freely accessible areas, designed to offer a wide variety of activities (playground, internet point, TV areas, refreshment points, interactive works of art) and finally to increase services. In addition to improving the essential reference and orientation information (flight screens and sound alerts in shops and duty free), energy-saving devices and technologies have been set up in all areas such as the use of LEDs and good positioning of lights, home automation brightness / natural light control, use of luminous materials) and suggestions for waste management (routes, use and differentiation of recyclable materials).
