Park | Villa Sassi

Strada del Traforo di Pino 47, Turin

Villa Sassi is a historic place on the Turin hillside. Immersed in a centuries-old park, built at the end of the seventeenth century and enlarged over the centuries, it has been a reception and party venue for decades. A recent change of ownership led to the decision to review and rethink the structure, modifying the impact of the reception and outdoor green areas.

The project aimed to restore an image closer to the past, to the old villas with their parks, in the reception rooms and the entrance hall, combining restoration with design, soft, light colours with fabric upholstery, and restored wood panelling with large windows allowing views of the garden and the city. The paths in the park have been redesigned and some areas, such as the Belvedere, have been fitted with totems explaining the centuries-old park.
