Part of the Fontanafredda wine estate, on top of a hill planted entirely with vines, it has a unique panorama.
For Cascina Galarej, the architectural aspects of the existing building were enhanced by inserting large windows. The indoor swimming pool is located in the barn with its exposed brickwork and wooden truss roof, overlooked by the volume of the spa’s experience and massage area. Natural materials such as wood and stone, natural light and water create a warm and welcoming atmosphere and allow for a holistic experience that is relaxing to the body and spirit. The relationship with the surrounding nature, the key to the project, extends into the exterior design with the new greenhouse and an area of green pergolas.
