100 vini e affini

Green Pea, Turin

The “100 Vini e Affini” and Green Pea projects intersect and if the bistro is an integral part of the project that hosts it, at the same time it acts as an architectural and graphic graft with a strong character to make it a project with its own identity aimed at offering an experience in the sign of conscious drinking and elegant, creative cuisine. The project offers integrated responses to the many levels of complexity of creating a bistro that accompanies visitors from breakfast to an aperitif, intertwining the scales of architecture and those of an interior design defined down to the last detail.

The 500 square metres are divided between a large indoor area, surrounded by the large bookshop dedicated to eco-sustainability, and two outdoor areas, a greenhouse and a terrace, respectively. More than 100 seats have been arranged, where the distribution and realisation of the space is designed to invite stimulating reflections on the relationship between architectural design and nature, between mankind and the habitat in which lives. In the centre is a counter articulated to house a real kitchen equipped with preparation, cooking and wine and cocktail areas. All the materials used in the project were chosen to characterise the dedicated area: eco-sustainable, light materials which not only give a warm, evocative perception of the space but also form an aesthetic and performing element that plays with volumes and shapes.
